According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Everton are interested in signing Lazio striker Ciro Immobile during the January transfer window.
The report claims that the Toffees are prepared to spend big to land the Italian, although Lazio are likely to resist any bid that might arrive.
The 29-year-old has been in stunning form at club level this season, finding the back of the net on 21 occasions in 22 appearances in all competitions.

And it would be fair to say that a number of Everton supporters are desperate for their club to attempt to sign the centre-forward this month.

Immobile has managed 19 goals in 17 Serie A appearances this season, and TMW have suggested that a deal this month is unlikely due to Lazio, understandably, being desperate to keep hold of him.
It is shaping up to be a fascinating transfer window for Everton, particularly as players of a certain level are likely to take a closer look at the Toffees due to the presence of Carlo Ancelotti as head coach.
