U.S. international Brenden Aaronson scored his fourth goal of the season on Saturday, netting Leeds' third goal in an eight-minute span against Plymouth Argyle. After Daniel James and Joel Piroe scored in the 30th and 33rd minutes, respectively, Aaronson got on the board in the 38th with an alert finish to make it 3-0, effectively putting the game out of reach for Leeds.

The goal continues Aaronson's hot start to the season, which was much-needed considering the situation he walked back into at Leeds. After struggling in the Premier League and in the Bundesliga on loan with Union Berlin, Aaronson needed to prove himself quickly to apprehensive Leeds supporters, and he's done that and more.
With the four goals, Aaronson has already doubled his goals scored last season in Berlin as he continues to improve in the English second division. USMNT boss Mauricio Pochettino will be watching closely, too, ahead of the November Nations League camp.
