After a summer of intense speculation, Osimhen left Napoli and joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan in something of a surprise move. Osimhen had been linked with Chelsea and Saudi side Al-Ahli but ended up heading to Turkey where he has scored four goals and bagged two assists in just five league matches. Galatasaray are now hoping to sign Osimhen permanently and are willing to offer Napoli €50 million (£42m/$54m) for the 25-year-old, according to Turkish outlet .

Talk of Osimhen's future has continued to make headlines this season, with speculation claiming he could move on to Arsenal, Chelsea or even Bayern Munich. The striker has claimed he is still "worth more than €100 million", which may be bad news for Galatasaray and their attempts to secure his future. Napoli confirmed an agreement had been reached for an option to extend Osimhen's contract until 2027 before he left, while his release clause was reportedly lowered from €130m (£109m) to €75m (£63m).

Osimhen has ruled out leaving Galatasaray in the January transfer window. The striker was asked about his future after scoring the winner against Besiktas and said "Here? Obviously!" when asked if he'd stay with the club until June.
